Red Scope is a fresh, up and coming producer from Bolton, Manchester who has quickly risen to be a sought after remix artist and is set for big things in the UK Club charts with his debut single recently released on Fidget Music label.
RedScope is no stranger to dance music, having grown up with some of the classic tracks which have fuelled his inspiration and are evident in his productions. Having started out as a DJ, as many producers do, Redscope cut his teeth, so to speak, back in 1996, predominantly playing old school rave tracks and like most kids practising in their bedrooms, this soon became an obsession. It wasn’t long before his skills as a DJ improved and through a family connection managed to get a gig at a nightclub which further fuelled his desire to progress in the industry. Having spent some time as a DJ, and a lot of time listening to music of all genres, Redscopes focus turned into trying to understand how songs are put together and the underlying structures used to make hit records. It was at this point he turned his head into music production, with Influences from producers such as Max Martin, Calvin Harris, Martin Solveig.
Being influenced by music from a range of genres has help RedScope forge his own unique take on dance music, this fusion can be seen in his new release ‘Am I On Your Mind’ which features Vicky Jackson on vocals. The take on the 2000s trance classic by Oxygen is nothing short of outstanding, and it can be seen why. Fidget Music didn’t waste any time signing this guy as they spotted his potential and unique sound.
