Fidget Music, today announces an upcoming new release for label stalwart Ste Essence, out on Tuesday, 16th May. The pre-summer release features the vocals of Sheena McHugh on five eclectic mixes of ‘My One Temptation’.

My One Temptation, originally Mica Paris’s 1988 debut single, has been recreated in a leading-edge house style by Ste using Sheena’s powerhouse vocals. The duo have taken the soul / R&B classic and turned it into a club-floor triumph. A 20 year industry veteran DJ, Ste’s new melodies and progressions are honed for the dancefloor. Sheena, a semi-finalist on Series 4 of The Voice, provides vocals to match whilst retaining the feeling of the gospel driven originals.

Fidget Music artists Richard Harrington, Kelvin Wood, Brandon Reeve, and Barry Diston have all remixed the creation for the release in their own unique styles. From Tech House through some cutting edge Future/Electro House to the club-DJ favourite Dub/Deep House treatment, this tune can find a place in a huge number of playlists and DJ sets.
